Who controls your data
The data controller is SMARTECH BG, EIK 123321123, Bul. Stefan Stambolov 79, Burgas, Bulgaria. To exercise a privacy right, use our contact form and begin your message with “Privacy request”. It will be routed privately to the person responsible for privacy requests.
What we collect
When you contact us, we collect your name, email address, optional company and service interest, the message you provide, your IP address, submission time, and technical anti-abuse verification data. Please do not include passwords, access keys, special-category personal data, or other secrets in the message.
Why we process it
We use the information to review and respond to your enquiry, take steps you request before entering into a contract, and protect the form and our systems from spam and abuse. We do not use contact-form data for unrelated marketing and do not sell it.
Legal basis
Processing your enquiry is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract. Security logging, throttling, and abuse prevention rely on our legitimate interest in protecting the availability and integrity of the website and communications service.
Who receives it
Authorised SMARTECH BG personnel receive your enquiry. The data is stored on our self-hosted infrastructure in Bulgaria. A notification is sent through our self-hosted mail system. We use Cloudflare Turnstile and Cloudflare's network services for security and delivery; they receive the technical information necessary to provide those services.
Retention
Contact submissions are deleted automatically after 12 months. We may delete them sooner when they are no longer needed. If an enquiry becomes part of a customer relationship, the relevant correspondence may be retained under the separate periods applicable to that relationship and legal obligations. Notification emails follow the same 12-month operational retention target.
Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, data portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may also lodge a complaint with the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.
Required information
Name, email, message, privacy acknowledgement, and successful anti-abuse verification are required to submit the form. Without them, we cannot safely receive and respond to the enquiry. Company and service interest are optional. No automated decision with legal or similarly significant effects is made from this data.
